Privacy
ReelMeeting listens to meetings you explicitly start capturing, in order to produce a live transcript and live critique. This page explains what is processed, what is stored, and what never leaves the moment.
What is processed
- Microphone and system audio, only while a session you started is active, streamed for live transcription and analysis.
- Transcript text and the findings generated from it, associated with your account.
What is stored
- Transcripts, findings, and meeting summaries are stored after a meeting ends so you can revisit them.
- Local meeting history on your device is encrypted at rest, keyed through your operating system's keychain.
What is not stored
- Raw audio is never persisted after a meeting ends. It is processed during the meeting and discarded.
Your responsibilities
Recording-consent laws vary by jurisdiction. In two-party (all-party) consent jurisdictions you may be legally required to inform every participant that the conversation is being listened to and transcribed before starting a session. You are solely responsible for obtaining any consent required from meeting participants.
